हरदिल अज़ीज़ गायिका गीता दत्त जी जो २० जुलाई ,१९७२ को सिर्फ ४२ साल की उम्र में ही इस संसार को छोड़ गए थीं...आज उनकी ३९ वीं बरसी है.
आज भी हम उन्हें उनकी आवाज़ ,उनके गीतों में अपने पास पाते हैं .यह भी सच है कि उनकी आवाज़ का जादू दोबारा कोई दूसरा जगा नहीं पाया है.
उन्हें याद करते हुए.. मेरी ओर से श्रद्धा सुमन ...'उन्हीं का गाया गीत अपने स्वर में एक कोशिश 'मेरी जाँ मुझे जाँ ना कहो ..'प्रस्तुत है.
यह गीत उनका आखिरी गीत था और इसे उनकी बीमारी के दौरान अस्पताल में ही रिकॉर्ड किया गया था.उनके भाई कनु रॉय की फिल्म अनुभव के लिए इसे अभिनेत्री तनुजा पर फिल्माया गया था.गुलज़ार साहब का लिखा और संगीत कनु रॉय का है.

Bohut masoomiyat aur saada pun nazar aaya, khaas karke Doosre minute ke baad tu ghazub ka he ga diya.

this is my fav song of my fav singer Geeta ji and ur attempt is very cool……
track is not good (some basic interludes are missing and tabla rhythm has been used which is not there in original song) but you sang very honestly and from heart….congrats….to favs

Alpana ji, nice attempt. Slight issue on higher notes… especially at second line of every stanza. The words ‘Meri jaan’ after muze jaa na kaho was a master piece of your rendition. You have given a nice tribute to a great singer. And as you rightly said, this rendition would have been better without track. Keep Singing.
